What characterizes the manual espresso machine Sage The Bambino stainless steel
Small, but effective!
Theespresso machine Sage The Bambinois designed with the Thermojet heating system unique to the Sage brand.
The Thermojet is a powerful thermoblock that heats water in a closed circuit in just 3 seconds. Of course, since the machine is equipped with a stainless steel group, you will need to wait about 2 minutes for all components in contact with the coffee to reach the optimal temperature.
The Bambino is the little sister of the Bambino Plus: more compact, but with the same quality of finish and result in the cup.
Other differences with the Bambino Plus: fewer settings, a steam wand without the Auto MilQ function and simpler maintenance.
Simple and precise extraction for espresso
The Sage The Bambino usesdigital temperature controltechnology (non-adjustable built-in PID) to ensure water at the right temperature for precise extraction.
This machine operates by performing alow-pressure pre-infusion(to extract all the aromas of your coffee), followed by a9-bar extraction(the perfect pressure for making an espresso). This combination ensures great quality in the cup to enjoy your favorite coffee!
Like its big sister, The Bambino is equipped with astainless steel coffee groupfor better thermal stability, a 54 mm portafilter and pressurized filters (single or double cup) to make extractions with 18 grams of ground coffee. If you have an espresso grinder, you can also use the single filters provided (1 and 2 cups).

You can easily adjust the amount of coffee desired in the cup and save your choice.
A powerful steam wand for your milk drinks
Thestainless steel steam wandis powered by the Thermojet to produce powerful pressure at a temperature of 93°C. You will obtain aperfect micro-foamfor your favorite drinks (latte, cappuccino...).
Use the milk jug (supplied with the machine) to practice and create beautiful milk foams!
On the front of the machine, you will find two buttons for using the wand: one for steam, the other for dispensing water (handy for an americano or tea).
The Bambino by Sage is a good entry-level manual espresso machine for those who want to move to ground coffee and wish to create their own milk-based drinks.
We recommend grinding your coffee to order for a tastier result.
Thanks to the pressurized filters, you can use a small entry-level grinder.
To take advantage of the single-wall filters, we advise a grinder dedicated to espresso.
Accessories included and maintenance of the Sage Bambino
Accessories : Stainless-steel milk jug, tamper, single-cup pressurized filter, double-cup pressurized filter, single-cup single-wall filter, double-cup single-wall filter, dual-spout aluminum portafilter, water filter cartridge with holder, cleaning tool for steam wand and filters, descaling powder.
Maintenance: To prolong the life of your Sage Bambino espresso machine and for better in-cup results, it is recommended to use a water filter cartridge (or already-filtered water). Do not forget to descale your appliance following the brand’s instructions (see manual) and to clean the accessories regularly. Find all SAGE maintenance products.
Also available as a spare part: stainless-steel portafilter compatible with this SAGE machine.

The pressurized filters allow you to get to grips with The Bambino even if you don’t yet have an espresso grinder, by using pre-ground coffee.
Of course, the in-cup result will always be better with freshly ground coffee!
