This KitchenAid Artisan coffee mill allows you to obtain a grind adapted to different extraction methods. Its 70 different settingsallow you to go from a coarse grind for Cold Brew, French press and filter, to a finer grind for espresso (with pressurized filters). Icons above the screen help you choose the right grind size for each extraction method.
Additionally, the compact size of this electric coffee mill will allow you to easily place it in your kitchen for daily use.
The KitchenAid Artisan 5KCG8433ECA coffee mill features a digital screen that displays the grind size (adjustable using the dial on the side), the desired number of cups (or number of shots for espresso), and the grinding time.
The Automatic Smart Dosing TechnologyAutomatic Smart Dosing Technology automatically adjusts the grinding time of your coffee to dispense the right volume and consistency. This function can be paused or stopped manually if you decide you have already reached your dose of ground coffee.
Additionally, this KitchenAid coffee mill is programmable. You can save your doses for each extraction method based on the grinding time. The hopper can hold up to 340g of coffee beans.
To make it easy to use this mill, KitchenAid has provided a container (UV-resistant) to grind your coffee directly in larger quantities (for filter coffee, for example). A rubber lid will keep your ground coffee dry. By removing the lower tray, you will find a fork to place a filter holder under the spout, convenient for espresso lovers.
The hopper of the KitchenAid Artisan 5KCG8433ECA coffee mill is easily removable, with a system that remains closed to avoid waste, in case you decide to change coffee beans when there are still some left in the hopper. The upper burr is easily removable, with a handle to lift it. This system allows you to quickly clean the burrs.
Included accessories: Grinding container, ABS fork for filter holder, cleaning brush.
