The HARIO Filter-in bottle is designed to make delicious cold coffee. A simple method to enjoy a refreshing cold brew. Carafe made of borosilicate glass, capacity for 700 ml of coffee, nylon filter, brown silicone stopper and upper part removable.

Cold brew is a preparation method that, unlike classic methods, uses cold water.
The coffee is steeped slowly between 8 and 24h. The difference with iced coffee is that the latter uses an espresso or filter type coffee to which ice cubes are added to cool it quickly.
Iced coffee will allow you to have a cool coffee quickly, but risks causing thermal shocks that can denature the coffee. Cold extraction does not have this disadvantage since the water is already cold. The infusion will take longer, butwill respect the characteristics of your coffee.
Another advantage of cold brew: during the long infusion, the water will have time to bring out all the aromatic notes of your coffee. The result in the cup will translate into an explosion of aroma in the mouth.
This product is made in Japan, with very resistant glass.
The bottle can hold up to 700 ml
The removable filter is made of nylon, with a mesh that prevents ground coffee from passing through.
The top of the bottle and the stopper are made of brown silicone.
The Hario Filter-in bottle is, in addition to being easy to use, simple to clean, since all parts are detachable and dishwasher safe. In addition, its bottle shape allows it to be stored easily in the door of your fridge during infusion or tasting.
How to make cold coffee with the Hario filter-in bottle?
For optimal results, our coffee experts recommend using between 55-60 g of coarsely ground coffee (Chemex-type grind).
Put your ground coffee in the filter and adjust it. Place the brown silicone top of the bottle without the stopper.
Add 700 ml of cold water, put the stopper and let infuse for a minimum of eight hours.
Depending on the coffees, you will get better results by letting your coffee infuse longer. Do not hesitate to let it infuse for a day in your fridge, stirring from time to time.
