Tablets that deep clean your machine
Daily maintenance of your machine is essential to extend its lifespanand above all to keep coffee quality flawless. Indeed, poor maintenance can damage your machine, but also alter the taste and quality of your coffee.
To best support you in maintaining your SAECO PRO machine, here are descaling tablets that will allow you to dissolve oil deposits and eliminate residues from coffee beans that lodge and build up in your machine's brew circuit.
We recommend using one cleaning tablet every 500 cups to ensure your customers a flavorful, quality coffee.
How to use SAECO PRO cleaning tablets?
For coffee/espresso machines equipped with a ground coffee compartment:
- Fill your water tank and place your cup under the dispensing unit
- Drop a descaling tablet into the ground coffee compartment then press the coffee grinding button
- Press the brew cycle start button and when the cup is half full, turn off your machine with the on/off button
- Let the descaling solution work for at least 15 minutes
- Empty the cup then turn the machine back on to finish the cycle. Empty the cup again
- Remove the coffee group from your machine then rinse it under clear water
- Replace the coffee group and put the cup back under the coffee dispensing unit
- Run two brew cycles without coffee
Clean the drip tray
- To clean your drip tray, simply place a descaling tablet in it and fill it two-thirds with hot water.
- Let it sit 30 minutes
- Rinse the drip tray under clear water
- Your machine is now clean and ready to use.
Coffee/espresso machines without ground coffee compartment:
- Dissolve one tablet in a cup with hot water
- Remove your coffee group and with a sponge soaked in the water-and-descaler mixture, clean the filters and the flow channel
- Let it sit 15 minutes
- Rinse the coffee group under clear water and put it back in place
Clean the drip tray
- To clean your drip tray, simply place a descaling tablet in it and fill it two-thirds with hot water.
- Let it sit 30 minutes
- Rinse the drip tray under clear water
- Your machine is now clean and ready to use.
