One of the main innovative features of this grinder is the ability to adjust the grind level at any time, allowing you to adapt the fineness of the grind to your preferences.
The P.A.G.2 grinder is designed to rest in a relaxed state between preparations, which contributes to its longevity and consistent grinding. In addition, it is equipped with theVacuum Clean System technology, which empties the burrs after each grind to prevent blockages when changing grind fineness.
In addition to its improved performance, thegrinder of the Jura E8 ECis alsoquieter and fasterthan the previous version. You will therefore enjoy preparing your coffee without excessive noise, while benefiting from a more efficient grinding speed.
Perfect extraction with 3D and PEP technology
The 3D step of the Jura E8 EC occurs during pre-infusion and plays a crucial role in the coffee extraction process. After tamping, a uniform flow of water passes through the coffee puck, allowing the grounds to saturate and swell. This promotes the development of aromas before extraction.
The P.E.P (Pulse Extraction Process) system comes into action after pre-infusion, when pressure is applied to the coffee puck to extract the aromas. The pressure is applied in pulses, allowing the water to remain in contact with the grounds for the ideal time to achieve a balanced extraction.

Easy maintenance in a few steps
To preserve the aromas of your coffee and ensure the longevity of your Jura E8 EC bean-to-cup coffee machine, it is essential to follow a few maintenance steps. Fortunately, Jura machines are designed to be easy to maintain and guide you step by step through the process. Here are some key points for maintaining your Jura E8 EC machine
- The filter cartridge: The machine is compatible with the Claris Smart cartridge and one will be supplied with the machine. This cartridge filters your tap water, removing impurities such as limescale and residues.
- The extraction chamber: The Jura machine comes with 2 cleaning tablets. Use these tablets to regularly clean the extraction chamber, removing oil and ground residues.
- The milk system: For its maintenance, use the two-compartment container provided with the machine and dissolve a mini cleaning tablet in one of the compartments with water. The machine will then perform a complete rinse of the milk circuit to clean it thoroughly. Repeat this operation regularly to maintain optimal hygiene.
- The grounds container: The grounds container can hold up to 16 used coffee pucks, which is convenient for daily use. However, it is recommended to empty it frequently to maintain the cleanliness of your machine.
