Official Smeg brand descaling solution
Descaling your Smeg machine is an important step to ensure its proper functioning. Descaling helps remove limescale residues contained in the water. When your machine prompts you via a light, it's important to perform descaling promptly. You can also do it if you notice that the temperature of your drinks has decreased. This bottle allows you to perform up to 5 descaling cycles.
How to perform descaling?
- To begin, remove the filter cartridge from your water tank,
- Pour 50 ml of descaling solution into the water tank and fill up with cold water,
- Follow the machine's descaling instructions,
- Important: perform two rinses after the descaling cycle to remove all residues,
- Once finished, replace your filter cartridge and enjoy your drinks.
