Varia VS3: Precision grinding for every coffee
The Varia VS3 electric coffee grinder is a model offering exceptional precision and consistency.
Thanks to its progressive grind adjustment, powerful motor and high-quality burrs, it is suitable for both espresso and filter coffee. Compact and robust, it fits perfectly into any coffee setup.
The Varia VS3 is equipped with 38 mm stainless steel conical burrs. It features continuous burr adjustment, offering precision adjustments to the nearest micron through vertical burr movement in increments of just 10 microns (0.01 mm). This flexibility allows you to fine-tune your grind with great precision.
Designed to minimize retention, the VS3 adopts a 76.5° tilt to reduce retention to a minimum. Thanks to the RDT (Ross Droplet Technique), retention is less than 0.1 g for a 10 g dose, and even without RDT, it remains below 0.2 g. This ensures a uniform grind, always fresh coffee with an anti-static design.
Equipped with a powerful DC motor, the VS3 offers a grinding speed of 170 rpm, ensured by a stainless steel gearbox guaranteeing smooth and stable operation.
A quiet low-retention grinder
It can grind a dose of 18 g in 34 seconds for espresso (setting 4) and in about 25 seconds for filter coffee (setting 10).
The coffee grinder is equipped with a 30 g hopper for coffee beans. It has a maximum grinding time of 60s followed by a 90-second rest.
The Varia VS3 coffee grinder is built with a CNC-machined aluminum body with 0.02 mm precision for exceptional durability.
It includes magnetic components, anti-slip silicone feet for better stability.
The VARIA VS3 comes with: a magnetic dosing cup, a silicone hopper bellows, a 5ml RDT spray bottle, a cleaning brush, an instruction manual and a spare parts pack.
To enhance the performance of the Varia VS3 coffee grinder, it is compatible with Hypernova Titanium burrs for increased longevity and grinding containers suitable for 54mm and 58mm portafilters.
