Rafale AX855: advanced design and technical features
Specially designed for discerning connoisseurs and purists of excellence, it transcends the mere appliance to become a centerpiece.
Its matte-black stainless-steel cladding of unshakable robustness, enhanced by touches of solid white oak, gives the Rafale AX855 exceptional durability and a truly unique visual signature.
It blends elegance and functionality with a simple push-button interface and a clearly visible numbered pressure gauge for perfect control at every extraction.
Its 58 mm brass brew group places it among semi-professional espresso machines, as it must be paired with a suitable espresso grinder to achieve great in-cup results.
Extraction controlled to the degree!
The Rafale AX855 pushes precision to the limit. The machine reaches an advanced level of accuracy through settings accessed via its LCD screen!
Its dual heating system – stainless-steel boiler with PID for water (approx. 15–20 min heat-up) and an independent thermoblock for steam – lets you pull an espresso while texturing milk with no temperature compromise.
Thanks to its adjustable PID, you can fine-tune temperature to the degree. The built-in pressure gauge gives you real-time pressure readout during extraction, essential for refining your flavor profile.
The OPV (Over Pressure Valve), located right next to the group, lets you mechanically adjust maximum pressure to suit different grinds and roasts.
A steam wand worthy of professional machines
The stainless-steel steam wand is powerful and fully articulating, letting you achieve the perfect swirling motion with ease.
The major innovation? An integrated temperature sensor automatically stops heating as soon as the ideal temperature is reached. No more scorched or failed milk: you serve professional-grade milk foam, always fine and creamy.
The Rafale AX855 offers two programmable buttons: a timer mode with pre-infusion (adjustable via long press) and a manual mode without pre-infusion, letting you tailor extractions to your taste.
The pre-infusion is also customizable, for even saturation of the coffee before extraction. Finally, the water dose programming allows you to perfectly calibrate your drinks daily, cup after cup.
To easily understand your settings, you can use the variable table provided to perfect your recipes.
Accessories and maintenance
Accessories : 58 mm two-spout stainless steel portafilter with wood finish, bottomless stainless steel portafilter with wood finish 1 single-cup filter, 2 single-cup double-shot filters, a stainless steel tamper and a silicone blind filter. You can pair this scalable espresso machine with our barista accessories, like the pros.
Regularly maintaining your Rafale AX855 is essential to maintain optimal extraction quality, prevent breakdowns and extend the life of your machine. Thanks to its 3-way system, the Rafale features an automated backflush cycle.
Its large 1.7L reservoir and generous drip tray offer comfort and leeway for first attempts. Remember to descale your machine!
