Ascaso Steel Uno PID with wood finish is an espresso machine dedicated to pleasure, whether visual or gustatory.
Heating is very fast and economical, the new Thermoblock is insulated, this allows to keep the benefits of heating speed while improving thermal stability.
This thermal stability is further improved thanks to the electronic board linked to the PID. And this is just one example among all the positives for customizing its use:
- Extraction temperature
- Steam temperature
- Adjustable pressure via OPV
- Adjustable pre-infusion (from 0 to 5 seconds)
- The digital screen is also a timer for extraction
A group pressure gauge is located on the front and allows you to control, at a glance, the proper progress of your extraction. The extraction is also made even more beautiful thanks to the two LED lights located on each side of the group brass coffee.
In addition, the buttons also allow you to manage a programmable volumetric dispensing easily.
The insulated Thermoblock designed by Ascaso is in aluminum and stainless steel. This rapid heating system has several advantages:
- The water stays clean, because it is constantly renewed for each coffee. The taste and smell of the coffee are not affected. Since the water does not stay in the boiler, being constantly reheated, the quality is not affected.
- Thermal stability and cup quality: thanks to its large capacity and its internal pipe measuring over one meter long. All this is optimized with electronic temperature control (PID).
- The stainless steel water circuit AISI 316 which guarantees no metal migration into the water.
- Less limescale buildup: the stainless steel circuit is easy to clean and reduces limescale buildup.
- Unlimited steam supply and constant pressure for faster heating and better thermal stability.

The machine features anadjustable OPV as well as a3-way solenoid valve allowing depressurization, which will make your coffee puck drier. Pressure is also controlled via the gauge located on the front panel.
In terms of equipment, thisAscaso Steel Uno PID is well equipped:
- Theportafilter handle, as well as thesteam knob, are made ofwood,
- Thecup warmer isactive (38 W) and connected to its own heating element,
- Professional group in brass,
- Steam wand in insulated stainless steel (Cool Touch) !

ThisAscaso Steel Uno PID is trulyversatile and allows, thanks to theincluded filters, to extract from ESE pods (using the dedicated filter) or ground coffee (using the two pressurized and two single-wall filters). Ablind filteris also provided for backflushing.
Thestainless steel portafilter ensures thermal stability for your coffee and itsdiameter (internal) professional 58 mm ensures extraction quality multiplied compared to older versions.
The large 2-liter water reservoir lets you pull many shots in a row!
