One of the main advantages of the Rocket Giotto Cronometro R espresso machine:
- The pump is a rotary pump (quieter and also allows direct plumbing).
- The addition of a front-facing digital timer that lets you monitor extraction time at a glance.
The Rocket Espresso Giotto Cronometro R has better boiler insulation and a PID system for improved temperature stability and optimum results. It also features two pressure gauges to monitor boiler and pump pressure.
The Rocket Giotto Cronometro R has a rotary pump, unlike the Cronometro V model which uses a vibration pump.
Rocket Espresso Giotto CronometroR incorporates many advantages that already make it a very high-end product compared with other brands offering similar machines:
- Carefully engineered body in stainless steel
- E-61 coffee group : the legendary E-61 group renowned for its thermal stability and insulation
- 1.8 L boiler : copper boiler connected to brass heat-exchangers (increases thermal retention and steam power by about 40 % compared with other boiler systems), 9 mm thick for optimal temperature stability and control.
- Boiler level control : automatic microprocessor control for boiler water level.
- Pre-infusion system : ensures optimal coffee extraction (positive effects on superior aroma, body and crema)
- PID system: maintains and controls boiler temperature for optimal results.
- Rotary pump
- Insulated wands : 2-hole steam wand and hot-water wand, both internally insulated (to prevent burns after use).
- Removable cup support: You can remove the cup support to reduce the height of the espresso machine.
