Choose the Bialetti Moka Express Italian coffee maker
TheMoka expressis the best-known Italian coffee-maker model in the world, and for good reason: it was the very first. It was invented byAlfonso Bialettiin 1933. In the middle of a century full of revolutions, this Italian engineer wanted to revolutionize an everyday gesture too.
At the time he took inspiration from washing machines that sent soapy hot water up a pipe and then poured it into a container. The Moka express would revolutionize the world of coffee and has reigned for almost a century as the centerpiece of every kitchen.
Use your Moka Express on an induction hob
The original Moka Express was designed at a time when induction did not yet exist; its composition was therefore not suited to this heating method.
Consequently, a few years later Bialetti created an induction pad or adapter to keep pace with evolving technology. This 13 cm-diameter pad lets you use your Italian coffee maker on yourinduction hobs.
