The Pro 2 filter allows you to put between 16 g and 24 g of ground coffee in the filter (compared to between 12g and 18g in the standard filter of the Flair Classic and Signature models)
Thanks to theingenious system that makes the portafilter and filter a single piece, as well as the extraction guided by the unique spout, espresso becomes a real show. Once the ground espresso is placed in the filter and tamped, simply add hot water (around 92°C depending on the coffee used) and apply pressure manually using the sturdy lever.
The machine base is designed to take advantage of the stainless steel cup rest / drip tray. It is wide enough so that the Flair Pro 2 Chrome does not wobble under pressure.
Manual pressure can sometimes seem complicated to manage, but the design of the Flair Espresso Pro 2 allows you to keep an eye on it.
Applying consistent pressure is simple, with a pressure gauge, which allows you to adjust your gesture according to the pressure.
The pressure applied will have an effect on the extraction. Thanks to the pressure gauge, you can test your extractions by stabilizing between 6 and 9 bars, and even perform a pre-infusion to reveal even more aromas.
Flair Espresso has paid particular attention to the design of this model.
