A stylish espresso machine for the home barista
Rocket Espresso is an Italian brand known for its traditional high-end espresso machines.
The Rocket Mozzafiato is reliable and elegant, which will delight any barista or apprentice barista looking for an espresso machine with the traditional E61 group.
The Mozzafiato Cronometro V model is equipped with heat exchange and a vibration pump. If you prefer the same machine with water line connection, you should turn to the Cronometro R (with rotary pump).
Its 58mm brass E61 group places it in the semi-professional espresso machine category, as it will need to be paired with a suitable espresso grinder to get good results in the cup.
The advantages of the Rocket Espresso Mozzafiato Cronometro V
This espresso machine features a digital timer that blends into the stainless steel body design. It appears when the pump is activated and disappears when it is turned off.
The PID digital is hidden behind the drip tray so as not to distract from the all-stainless retro look of the machine. It can be adjusted to accommodate different roasting styles. The PID maintains the brew water temperature stable to the degree.
The E61 group circulates water from the boiler through the group to help with temperature stability.
As with other models, Rocket Espresso has integrated a dual pre-infusion system on the Mozzafiato Cronometro V, with a mechanical piston system that works progressively in a static pre-infusion chamber, for fully saturated extractions rich in crema.
Inside, the Mozzafiato Cronometro V is identical to the Giotto model, it only differs by its less imposing size on the outside. It houses a large 1.8 L copper boiler and a 1350-watt heating element, and integrated sensors that monitor the boiler and reservoir levels.
The machine alerts you and, if necessary, automatically shuts off to prevent the boiler from running dry.
The Cronometro V also features height-adjustable feet, a steam wandCool Touch powerful for latte art and a separate hot water tap.
