A stylish espresso machine for the home barista
Rocket Espresso is an Italian brand known for its traditional high-end espresso machines.
The Rocket Mozzafiato is reliable and elegant, sure to delight any barista or budding barista looking for an espresso machine with the traditional E61 group.
The Mozzafiato Cronometro R model is equipped with heat exchange and a virtually silent rotary pump. This espresso machine can be plumbed directly to the water mains.
This model is all stainless steel with matte black painted panels.
Its 58 mm brass E61 group places it among semi-professional espresso machines, as it must be paired with a suitable espresso grinder to achieve good in-cup results.
Advantages of the Rocket Espresso Mozzafiato Cronometro R
This espresso machine features a digital chronometer that blends into the stainless-steel bodywork. It appears when the pump is activated and disappears when it is off.
The PID digital controller is hidden behind the drip tray so as not to distract from the all-steel retro look. It can be adjusted to suit different roast styles. The PID keeps brew water temperature stable to the degree.
The E61 group circulates water from the boiler through the group to aid temperature stability.
As on other models, Rocket Espresso has built a dual pre-infusion system into the Mozzafiato Cronometro R, with a mechanical piston working progressively in a static pre-infusion chamber for fully saturated, crema-rich extractions.
Inside, the Mozzafiato Cronometro R is identical to the Giotto model; it only differs in its less imposing size from the outside. It houses a large1.8 L copper boilerand a 1350-watt heating element, as well asintegrated sensorsthat monitor the levels of the boiler and the reservoir.
The machine alerts you and, if necessary, shuts off automatically to prevent the boiler from running dry.
The Cronometro R also features height-adjustable feet, asteam wandCool Touch powerful for latte art and aseparate hot water tap.

Maintenance and backflush
The Rocket Espresso Mozzafiato Cronometro R espresso machine allows you to perform a backflush (deep cleaning) to clean your machine using the supplied blind filter and a specialized detergent.
Note:For machines connected to the water mains, it is highly recommended to use a water softening and filtration kit (as for a professional espresso machine). This kit is essential to ensure the water is safe for your machine and will provide better taste for your espresso. If the water is not filtered, you risk damaging your machine over time and having the warranty voided by the brand for lack of maintenance.
