Years of success for the first version of the Dedica, and here comes the new one!
Whether it's the look, the very successful matte paint, or the compactness, this machine has all the qualities required to find a prime spot in kitchens.
But looks, however important, remain secondary when we talk coffee, and that's where we can find the Dedica's little weaknesses. The ground coffee result is quite disappointing for a machine that should be able to take us to Italy.
It's a thermoblock machine, so heating is fast but thermal stability falls a bit short, especially if we want to do two extractions in a row, and once again Delonghi's hybrid steam wand, no latte art possible but nice thick foam.
The Dedica is a good machine thanks to its versatility, but it won't take you on a trip to Italy. ;)
