Everything you need to know about the Bialetti Moka Timer
With the Bialetti Moka Timer, no need for a stovetop to prepare your Italian-style coffee! The brand takes the design of the Dama to offer a unique electric version.
The LED screen allows you to easily program your electric Italian coffee maker in advance. Thanks to its built-in timer, you won't need to get up earlier in the morning to prepare your coffee. What's more, the Timer Easy has a keep-warm function for 30 minutes — perfect for busy mornings. A sound alerts you when the coffee is ready, which is perfect for both early risers and those who keep hitting the snooze button.
Preparing coffee in an electric Italian coffee maker
To prepare your coffee, nothing could be simpler: you just need water (we recommend bottled or filtered water) and coffee (make sure to choose a suitable grind, quite coarse, intended for Italian coffee makers).
Pour water into the boiler up to the level of the safety valve (Bialetti patented). Place the coffee filter filled with your favorite coffee — feel free to fill it generously but don't press it down. Attach the reservoir over the base. Plug the power supply into the mains. Set the start time.
Once the coffee is ready, we recommend tasting it as soon as it is poured into your favorite coffee cup.
