This whole bean coffee from organic farming brings together several advantages:
- An arabica whole bean coffee, from agroforestry
Sourced within the Ethiopian and Brazilian forests, the whole beans that make up The Forest are all grown under forest, specifically in the regions of Wallaga and Jimma (Ethiopia) and Minas Gerais (Brazil).
- A 100% sustainable forest coffee
This coffee meets all the requirements of a so-called "sustainable" coffee (organic coffee, carbon neutral roasting ...). In addition, the brand donates €1 per kilo purchased to the Fund for sustainable development and quality optimization in the specialty coffee sector. Finally, the coffee was very largely featured at the Change Now event in January and February 2020.
The responsible coffee The Forest was recognized for its finesse at the 2021 Epicures Trophy, obtaining the Epicure Label Gold prize in the category "The coffee of the fine grocery world.
