Terres de Café Himalaya Red Bourbonis among the first crus added to the rangeof the French roaster. Grown at high altitude in El Salvador, on a plantation whose name evokes distant heights – Finca Himalaya –, this coffee is produced near a volcano under the expert management of Mauricio Salaverria. The farm is fully parcelled out, shade-grown, and carries out drying on raised beds. Mastery of four processing methods – natural, pulped, washed and anaerobic – guarantees exceptional quality in every cup.
This exceptional whole-bean coffee was created for espresso lovers, yet it also reveals all its finesse with gentle brewing methods.
From the first extraction, its chocolatey and fruity aromas awaken the senses. On the palate, it’s an explosion of flavours: red fruits, evoking homemade compote, come forward first, then chocolate unfolds, followed by subtle hints of maple syrup and pineapple.
