The DeLonghi Magnifica range of bean-to-cup machines is reinvented with the Magnifica START. Its black ABS body is enhanced with stainless-steel touches, notably on the steam wand.
Its size has the advantage of being compact while still offering large containers:

- Bean hopper:250 g with opaque lid to protect the beans
- Grounds container:14 pucks with front access

All recipes are accessible from its very readable interface. This DeLonghi Magnifica Start FEB 2221.B espresso grinder is operated with a single touch thanks to its touch interface. Drinks are represented by icons and are thus very easily recognizable.
Customize your drinksby selecting the settings of your choice: Drinks, intensity on 3 levels, number of cups. Temperature is also adjustable on 3 levels via a button combination.
The DeLonghi espresso grinder is equipped with a13-setting steel grinder to adjust the fineness of the grind precisely. You can also very easily access theground coffee option, very handy for making a decaf from time to time.

The Italian brand DeLonghi offers a version with 3 coffee drinks available as direct access. Among them, the must-have espresso, rich in aroma and power, that will please everyone.
In addition, this espresso grinder offers 2 kinds of long coffee.Classic coffee, for which there is no pre-infusion. Its crema is finer, the result in the cup is mild and it contains less caffeine, allowing you to enjoy it throughout the day.Long coffee, on the other hand, is extracted in pulses at low pressure. This feature is particularly handy for obtaining a light result close to filter coffee, with more caffeine. Perfect for your morning mug!
The Magnifica START also offers a simple steam wand.You can thus froth milk to make the milk drink of your choice: cappuccino, latte macchiato etc. Also useful for getting hot water for your teas or infusions!
DeLonghi espresso grinder: easy maintenance
Maintaining DeLonghi bean-to-cup machines is very simple. Do not neglect this essential step to achieve a good cup result, sustainably. In order to have water with the most neutral taste possible and to remove as much limescale as possible, it is essential to use a filter cartridge in your water tank.
The brewing group (or infuser)is removableRemove it about once a week to rinse it with lukewarm water. Your FEB 2221.B espresso grinder will inform you when descaling is necessary.

Let yourself be seduced by the DeLonghi Magnifica START range. I really appreciated that the design was modernized compared to the Magnifica S. The large touch interface is really an aesthetic and practical asset.
I particularly recommend this FEB 2221.B version to long coffee drinkers. The 2 recipes complement each other perfectly throughout the day, always with the essential espresso. The steam wand and ground coffee chute are very practical for occasionally making decafs or frothing milk. I find this machine quite complete with an attractive price!
If you prefer strong coffees, you will love the doppio + of the FEB 2231.SB, and if you want even more choice with the Americano, I recommend the FEB 2230.SB.
