The DeLonghi Magnifica range of coffee machines is reinventing itself with the Magnifica START. Its body is made of gray anthracite ABS, enhanced by a central black band, in which the tactile part is perfectly integrated.
Its compact size has the advantage of being compact, while offering large containers:
- Water tank: 1.8 L, accessible from the front of the machine
- Bean container: 250 g with opaque lid to protect the beans
- Grounds container: 14 pods with front access

All recipes are accessible from its very readable interface. This DeLonghi Magnifica Start FEB 2222.GB coffee grinder is controlled by a simple touch thanks to its tactile interface. Drinks are represented by icons and are thus very easily recognizable.
Personalize your drinks by selecting the parameters of your choice: Drinks, intensity on 3 levels, number of cups. The temperature is also adjustable on 3 levels thanks to a combination of touches.
The DeLonghi coffee grinder machine is equipped with a 13-position steel grinder to adjust the grind precisely. You can also access the ground coffee option very easily, very practical for making a decaf from time to time.
The Magnifica START FEB 2222.GB, a specialist in long coffees
The Italian brand DeLonghi offers a version with 3 coffee drinks, available in direct access. Among them, the essential espresso, rich in aroma and power, which will satisfy everyone.
In addition, this coffee grinder offers 2 types of long coffee. The classic coffee, for which there is no pre-infusion. Its crema is finer, the result in the cup is soft and it contains less caffeine, which will allow you to enjoy it throughout the day. The Americano consists of lengthening a classic espresso with hot water. This allows you to have more caffeine and flavor, without bitterness!
The Magnifica START also offers a simple steam wand. You can thus create a milk foam to make the milk-based drink of your choice: cappuccino, latte macchiato, etc. Also useful for having hot water for your teas or infusions!
DeLonghi coffee grinder: easy maintenance
Maintaining DeLonghi coffee machines is very simple. Do not neglect this essential step to obtain a good result in the cup, sustainably. In order to have water with the most neutral taste possible and to remove as much lime as possible, it is essential to use a filter cartridge in your water tank.
The percolation group (or infuser group) is removable. Remove it about once a week to rinse it with lukewarm water. Your FEB 2222.GB espresso grinder informs you when descaling is necessary.

Let yourself be seduced by the DeLonghi Magnifica START range. I really appreciated that the design was modernized compared to the Magnifica S. The large touch interface is really an aesthetic and practical asset.
I particularly recommend this FEB 2222.GB version to long coffee enthusiasts. The 2 recipes complement each other perfectly throughout the day, and always with the essential espresso. The steam wand and ground coffee chute are very practical for occasionally making decafs or frothing milk. I find this machine quite complete with an attractive price!
If you prefer low-pressure filter-type coffee, I recommend the FEB 2221.B, and if you want more intensity with the doppio +, I advise you to turn to the FEB 2231.SB.
