A premium limited-edition Lelit coffee machine
The Lelit MaraX espresso machine belongs to Lelit's "PRO LINE" range, designed for the barista seeking a more advanced espresso experience. The MaraX PL62X-2Q30 is a limited edition, with a body in gold-painted stainless steel and elegant zebrano wood.
The Lelit L58E brew group is based on the famous E61 group. Some internal parts have been redesigned by Lelit and assembled differently for better performance.
This 58 mm brass brew group places it among semi-professional espresso machines, as it must be paired with a suitable espresso grinder to achieve good in-cup results.
The MaraX offers the ability to fine-tune your extraction settings. It also comes with Lelit's own "Coffee Slide" portafilter, with a wooden handle.
This espresso machine also lets you make Latte Art thanks to its "Cool Touch" steam wand semi-professional stainless steel.
All LELIT espresso machines are made in Italy using materials sourced from Italy or Europe. Every LELIT espresso machine (whatever the range: evolutive or semi-pro) is also tested twice on the production line before being carefully boxed.
Quality materials and innovative technologies
The Lelit MaraX PL62X-2Q30 is equipped with a large 1.8 L boiler and a dual-probe system that maintains constant temperature, limits waiting time between extractions and prevents overheating typical of classic HX systems.
With its silent-system pump (innovated by LELIT), the MaraX is quiet for a semi-professional machine of this type.
Its professional 58 mm diameter brew group and very high-quality brass portafilter ensure good temperature stability.
In addition, the "Coffee Slide" portafilter inclined and unique to Lelit, with its slide-shaped spouts, facilitates the formation of a beautiful crema and also gives a good view of your espresso extraction. The shape of this portafilter allows for flat tamping without damaging the spouts.
A semi-professional stainless steel steam wand and multidirectional to succeed at milk frothing and practice Latte Art. With its "Cool Touch" system, you won't risk burning yourself when touching the wand. The steam wand and separate hot water tap have been redesigned to avoid touching the machine body and prevent scratches.
The double manometer on the front indicates the pump pressure and the steam pressure. The water tank offers a good capacity of 2.5 L.
Above the machine, the cup warmer with its stainless steel grid will preheat your cups to avoid thermal shock during extraction.
The drip tray is also covered with a full stainless steel grid. A cup raiser is provided by Lelit for small espresso cups.
A more eco-friendly Lelit espresso machine, with various settings
The MaraX PL62X-2Q30 is equipped with a three-way solenoid valve that allows excess water to be evacuated from the portafilter at the end of extraction and protects the machine in case of overpressure. It also features the new OPV system that discharges water into the water tank (and no longer into the drip tray under the group), which reduces your water consumption by half.
Eco mode: The system reduces the boiler pressure after a period of inactivity. The machine goes into standby after 30 minutes. The heating time is quite fast for an espresso machine of this type (24 minutes maximum).
This Lelit MaraX has LED lights to indicate when the machine is ready for use and when the water level in the tank is low.
It has a button on the side of the machine to choose between "Coffee" mode (factory mode to prioritize coffee and allow consecutive extractions) or "Steam" mode (mode that prioritizes steam).
Another button (hidden behind the drip tray), allows you to change the coffee temperature with 3 choices:
- 0 - Quite hot - With steam pressure between 0.9 and 1.2 bars
- I - Hot - With steam pressure between 1.1 and 1.4 bars
- = - Very hot - With steam pressure between 1.3 and 1.6 bars
The Backflush function to maintain your Lelit espresso machine
With its 3-way solenoid valve, the Lelit MaraX PL62X-2Q30 allows you to perform a Backflush (deep cleaning) to clean your machine, using the blind filter and a specialized detergent.
For the anecdote, Lelit named this espresso machine "Mara" in homage to the character played by Sophia Loren in the film "Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow".
