Water-decaffeination is a natural process décaféination à l'eau est un procédé naturel that preserves the coffee’s aroma and richness without chemicals. It yields decafs of great complexity, able to satisfy even the most refined palates, while keeping the body typical of regular coffees.
During this method, green beans are immersed in a specially prepared water bath containing the same aromatic compounds found in the bean—except caffeine. Through osmosis, some caffeine migrates into the water while the aromas remain trapped in the beans. The process is repeated until caffeine content falls below 0.02 %.
This decaffeination method lets you serve customers a quality coffee with intact flavour, meeting the needs of caffeine-free coffee lovers.
