This "special espresso" coffee is the result of a medium roast that develops a full body, powerful aromas and roundness in the mouth.
Conversely, our coffees from a light roast develop a marked acidity as well as a more complex range of aromas in the cup.

Lionel Lugat is the emblematic roaster of BaristaDiscount . Over the years he has built a solid team of roasters.

Presentation of the estate:
This coffee is produced in two cooperatives of coffee growers indigenous to more than 240 families of the NASA WE'SX community on the terroirs of Planadas and Gaitania. Each owns between 2 and 4 hectares. These terroirs are protected lands for these native peoples, with more than 6000 trees per hectare.
They are the guardians of one of the largest natural reserves in South America. This land and their beliefs, taking care of Mother Earth, make them the best allies for producing one of the coffees most delicious with practices of organic farming.
They have joined several organizations of coffee producers, to promote the cultivation of their coffee, ensure income for their families and strengthen their community.

Native to the terroirs of Planadas and Gaitania, in the south of the Tolima region, this coffee is grown in a high-altitude area very often crossed by clouds. We truly fell in love with this coffee, which is part of a high-altitude organic production (1600 - 2000m).
Processed only by the washed method with fermentation, the coffee is produced from old varieties such as bourbon, typica, caturra, castillo and colombia something very rare today. The main harvest takes place from May to June (70%) and the mitaca is from October to January (30%).
