The Kottea CK404S coffee grinder is designed so everyone can enjoy freshly ground coffee at home. Whether you love slow coffee , moka pots or are the happy owner of an espresso machine with pressurized filters , everyone will find their perfect cup.
It lets you easily choose the amount of coffee you need. Thanks to a dial on the front of the grinder, you can set the quantity from 2 cups to 10 cups based on an average of 12 grams per cup. Of course, this average depends on the grind fineness .
From French press to pressurized espresso grind
The grinder's great strength is its versatility .
Grind fineness is set simply with the dial on the side of the grinder. This dial offers 16 settings , providing a broad palette of caffeinated possibilities.
The Kottea CK404S grinder is therefore a major asset, delivering grinds ranging from French press to pressurized espresso , passing through V60 , Chemex or even moka pot . Nothing beats freshly ground beans for a great cup of coffee.
Cleanliness and safety guaranteed
To make ground-coffee dispensing easier, the grinder has a ground-coffee container. This container lets you transfer cleanly the grounds from grinder to coffee maker while avoiding any scatter of ground coffee on your counter during dispensing.
In addition, it is lightly tinted , as is the 200-gram hopper , in order to protect your coffee from harmful light that can degrade quality.
The Kottea CK404S grinder is also equipped with safety features that prevent it from running unless the hopper lid and ground-coffee container are fully inserted.
Flat steel burrs, removable for perfect maintenance
Between the 16-step settings, the adjustable dose feature, and the flat steel burrs , this grinder is fitted with quality components .
Flat burrs have the great advantage of grinding quickly and very uniformly to ensure a grind suited to the chosen extraction method. Moreover, steel is a strong point because it is the same material used in professional grinders. The main advantage of steel burrs is that they do not break and are easy to replace.
In addition, the burr is removable , allowing thorough maintenance and deep cleaning of the grinding mechanism. By removing the ground coffee with the provided brush , you'll always enjoy perfectly fresh ground coffee.
