Built-in grinder and tamping for perfect extraction.
The Sage The Oracle Touch espresso machine is considered a manual semi-automatic machine: apart from step-by-step portafilter handling, the machine takes care of everything.
The integrated grinder with stainless-steel conical burrs is easily adjustable. It automatically grinds, doses, and tamps 22 g of coffee into the portafilter, just like a professional barista espresso machine. The hopper can hold up to 280 g of whole-bean coffee.
The automatic trigger dispenses the desired amount of grounds when the portafilter (or brew group) is in place.
Once grinding is done, a lever on the side of the machine lets you perform perfect tamping.
The coffee side is equally impressive in terms of settings. You can take control of temperature as well as coffee infusion duration. The machine will carry out your extraction as programmed; all that’s left is to enjoy.
Touchscreen to customize your drinks
The Sage The Oracle Touch Brushed Stainless Steel is equipped with a digital touchscreen that lets you choose the drink you want to prepare.
The icons next to the drink name make it easy to find the one you crave: Americano, Espresso, Latte, Flat White and Cappuccino.
Making an Americano is a good example of the full automation of the process: this drink is made from a double espresso, then a separate spout finishes filling the cup with hot water.
A simple drink to choose, to make, and just as good as at the local café.
The Oracle Touch espresso machine SES990BSS4EEU1 by Sage lets you customize up to eight drink profiles.
Once your drink is programmed, you can lto name as you see fit so that every family member has their drink available at the click of a button. The machine takes care of the rest.
Even latte art becomes child’s play thanks to the automatic steam wand
Sage has also equipped this machine with its famous automatic milk-frothing system. Thanks to the supplied stainless-steel milk jug, there’s no need to buy extra equipment.
Operating the machine is simple: just set the foam texture you want for your drink (or let the pre-programmed profiles do it), then place the jug.
Furthermore, the stainless-steel steam wand is self-cleaning !
A probe is on the drip tray, allowing the machine to control the exact temperature so you enjoy perfectly textured milk foam, just the way you expected.
You can adjust the temperature and the desired foam texture, then all that’s left is to pour beautiful latte art into your cup.

Maintenance: To extend the life of your Sage espresso machine and ensure the best in-cup results, use a water filter cartridge (or pre-filtered water). Remember to descale the unit following the brand’s instructions (see manual) and clean accessories regularly.
