To discover a new organic whole-bean coffee, nothing beats starting with Terra Etica. In addition to its tasting qualities, this whole-bean coffee offers many quality guarantees: Fair Trade, organic farming, and French roasting.
Thanks to its 1 kg packaging, it suits every desire. If you want a satisfying cup result, this 1 kg whole-bean format is perfect, letting you test several extractions and discover all coffee possibilities. It’s also great for family or friends, yielding about 130 cups.
This coffee is the result of a careful blend, of beans from a single geographical location: the Yungas terroir in Bolivia, specifically the Union ProAgo cooperative. Favored by farming that follows agroforestry principles and by high altitude, the cherries had time to develop complex sugars through full ripening.
Once in hand, Terra Etica carries out the roasting of its coffees in Pessac, Gironde, in an artisanal way. They succeed in achieving a slow roast suited to the coffee’s origin, thereby releasing all the aromatic power of this terroir whole-bean coffee.
Upon tasting, you’ll find a coffee first gourmet, revealing gourmet notes of milk chocolate and hazelnut. Then you’ll be quickly caught by fruitier notes reminiscent of red fruits with hints of black cherry. The tangy side of this coffee also plays a big part. Best as espresso or filter for a successful tasting.
