The white Smeg CGF03 coffee grinder captivates with its 50s-inspired design. Its gleaming white body and chrome accents make it a piece that is both elegant and modern, capable of enhancing a vintage countertop or a contemporary kitchen.
With its 50 available settings and 8 preset programs, the SMEG coffee grinder offers a high level of customization to suit all extraction methods. Whether you prefer an intense espresso or a milder filter coffee, you can fine-tune the grind to your liking. Three grinding ranges are available: extra-fine, fine and medium, for precise adaptation to each type of preparation.
The grinder allows you to easily select the amount of coffee to grind, whether for a single or double espresso, thanks to its dedicated dosing options. For even more freedom, a manual mode offers total control over grinding. Its bean hopper equipped with the Twist & Lock system ensures safe and quick handling, while the whole thing is operated intuitively via an ergonomic lever and buttons.
Fitted with conical burrs made of stainless steel, this grinder ensures a clean cut of the beans without overheating, to preserve all the aromatic subtleties. The precision settings guarantee a consistent result, cup after cup.
The anti-static system limits powder dispersion for a clean environment and comfortable use.

Expert opinion
Perfect for beginners, the Smeg CGF03 grinder combines retro design and ease of use. Thanks to its conical burr and preset functions, it adapts well to gentle methods and filter coffee. However, note that the so-called “medium” grind is closer to a coarse grind, which somewhat limits precision for certain extractions.
Ergonomics remain a real asset, with its 240 g Twist & Lock hopper, its non-slip base and its manual or preset modes for a single or double dose. The lever and button interface is intuitive and pleasant in daily use. On the other hand, there is significant retention and a rather high noise level, factors to consider for regular use.
This grinder is primarily designed for domestic use, ideal for enthusiasts who want to discover freshly ground coffee without jumping into an overly technical model.
