Inspired by the iconic 1950s style, the Smeg CGF03 grinder blends elegantly into any kitchen, from retro countertops to contemporary setups. Its shiny cream finish, accented with chrome details, perfectly embodies the union of vintage charm and modernity.
With its 50 available settings and 8 preset programs, the SMEG coffee grinder offers a high level of customization to suit all brewing methods. Whether you prefer a strong espresso or a milder filter coffee, you can fine-tune the grind to your liking. Three grind ranges are available: extra-fine, fine, and medium, for precise adaptation to each type of preparation.
It allows you to easily select the amount of coffee to grind, whether for a single or double espresso, thanks to its dedicated dosing options. For added flexibility, a manual mode is also available. The bean hopper, featuring the Twist & Lock system, ensures safe and quick handling. The whole unit is easily controlled via an ergonomic lever and buttons.
Equipped with conical stainless-steel burrs, this grinder ensures a clean cut of the beans without overheating, preserving all the aromatic subtleties. Precision settings guarantee consistent results, cup after cup.
The anti-static system limits powder dispersion for a clean environment and comfortable use.

The expert's opinion
Perfect for beginners, the Smeg CGF03 grinder combines retro design with ease of use. Thanks to its conical burr and preset functions, it adapts well to gentle methods and filter coffee. Note, however, that the so-called "medium" grind is closer to a coarse grind, which somewhat limits precision for certain extractions.
Ergonomics remain a real asset, with its 240 g Twist & Lock hopper, non-slip base, and manual or preset modes for a single or double dose. The lever and button interface is intuitive and pleasant for everyday use. On the other hand, there is significant retention and a slightly high noise level, which should be taken into account for regular use.
This grinder is primarily designed for domestic use, ideal for enthusiasts who want to discover freshly ground coffee without committing to a model that is too technical.
