Lionel Lugat is the iconic roaster of BaristaDiscount . Over the years he has built a solid team of roasters.

Presentation of this coffee:
The decaffeination method used is the water process. It is a natural method that uses no chemicals. This process yields coffees able to satisfy the most demanding palates because they retain the complexity and the body of a non-decaffeinated coffee.
The principle of water decaffeination is simple. The green, i.e. unroasted, coffee beans are immersed in water baths containing the same aromatic components found in the coffee bean, except for caffeine.
According to the "Principle of Osmosis" , and under certain temperature and pressure conditions, the water bath will rebalance. Indeed, 50 % of the caffeine will pass into the water bath and 50 % will remain in the coffee bean. The process will be repeated up to 10 times to minimize the caffeine content in the bean, to between 0.01 % and 0.02 %.
